Andaman Sea

Andaman Sea, washing the western cost of Thailand, offers several amazing safari-diving directions. The north of Andaman sea offers to visit a variety of places that will be interesting for diving: the Surin islands, Richelieu Rock and more popular – the Similan islands. The Similan islands are granite rock islands, the calm waters of which became a safe home for various marine dwellers. This fascinating marine park is considered one of the best diving places in Thailand. Western shore has large depth and severe underwater landscapes, where huge boulders form passages and overhangs. Between them there is a strong current that causes almost complete absence of corals. It creates the atmosphere of being at another planet. Eastern shore is a complete contrast to the western as it has a colorful covering of actiniae, hard and soft corals. The islands are in top ten best diving places. And it is not surprising: after seeing the underwater charm of these places just once, any diver will be sure that visiting was worth it. The local relief is characteristic by huge boulders at the bottom that form fascinating underwater landscapes, arches and grottos. Safari at the south of the Andaman Sea offers to dive at Ha Island and the Phi Phi islands (Anemone Reef, Shark Point and other dive sites). See all prices for Thailand liveaboard trips.
