El Caño Island

El Caño Island is a marine reserve that is located at south Pacific Ocean coast of Costa Rica in front of Osa Peninsula. It is one of the most beautiful and biologically varied national parks in the whole Costa Rica.This luxurious tropical island is a home for numerous sea dwellers.

Location: South Pacific Ocean, the south western part of Costa Rica in front of the Osa Peninsula

What to see: Here one can find tropical fish, beautiful colorful corals, tunas, urchins, wahoos, mantas, turtles, humpback whales, dolphins, white sharks and, sometimes, large hammerheads, whale sharks and marlins.
