Balinghai is a dive site with a diverse relief. There is a plateau at 12m/39ft depth, then there is a wall that goes down to 18m/59ft. At the foot of the wall there are beautiful areas with corals, inhabited with fish and scallops. The trees of soft and hard corals and sponges form an amazing landscape.

Location: South of Barocay Island, the Sulu Sea

What to see: Various corals, sponges, anemones, morays, snappers, lionfish, triggerfish and macrolife including blue ribbon eels and nudibranchs.

Visibility: 10-30m/32-98ft

Season for diving: All year roundbut some of the dive sites can be unavailable during the monsoons. The water temperature averages between 21-32C/69-89F.
