Bahamas is a top of the mountain with almost all species of corals and sponges. The highest point is 18m/59ft above water surface and the bottom is at 38m/125ft depth. This dive site is a perfect place for underwater macro photography. The dive site’s coordinates are 18° 26’27 .96 N/69° 4’38 .64″ W.

Location: near Santo Domingo, La Caleta, underwater national park

What to see: diverse corals and sponges, groupers, jacks, stingrays, parrotfish, goatfish, snappers, sharks, sea turtles etc.

Currents: 1 knot

Visibility: 10-30m/32-98ft

Season for diving: The best months are June to September. The average water temperature is about 25-28C/77-82F.
