Lighthouse / Egypt

Lighthouse reef is situated in Dahab bay and stretches to the north along the shore. The dive site is comfortable for introdives, because the depth of the descending slope is not more than 30m/98ft. A unique feature of this place is a huge field of algae extending from north to south, which attracts all types of marine dwellers. For divers who like night dives a Spanish dancer will stage the performance like in the theatre. Divers can also admire the beauty of coral garden inhabited with various fish.

Location: right off the shore in the centre of Dahab

What to see: coral garden, algae, Spanish dancers, napoleon fish, parrotfish, colorful morays, turtles, lobsters, shrimps and soldier crabs.

Season for diving: All year long. The average temperature in January is 24C/75F and in July 28C/82F
