Mandella Wall / Tanzania

Mandella Wall is a coral wall near Fundo Island that starts at 8-15m/26-49ft depth and in some places runs down to more than 200m/656ft depth.

Location: Indian Ocean, Tanzania, to the north-west of Pemba Island

What to see: Sponges, hard and soft corals, anemones and gorgonarias form a colorful garden. At this dive site divers can often observe the schools of tunas and wahoos.

Visibility: 10-30m/32-98ft

Season for diving: All year round, but the best time is July-October and December-March. The average water temperature throughout the year is 28C/82F.
