Palm Mar Cave / Spain

Cross in memory of the dead divers
Palm Mar Cave is a dive site that is presented by a cave with several dive levels. The entrance to the cave is at 28m/91ft depth, but swimming inside the cave is not recommended as it has many halls with dead ends, difficult tunnel system, while small sand rising from the bottom can decrease the visibility. Not far from the entrance to Palm Mar Cave there is a cross erected in the memory of the deceased divers and a sculpture of St. Mary the Virgin.

Location: North-east of the Atlantic Ocean, 500m/1640ft off Tenerife shore

What to see: Lobsters, shrimps, wrasses, morays, Atlantic rays etc.

Depth: 10-30m/33-99ft

Currents: 1-2knots

Visibility: 20-30m/66-99ft

Season for diving: The most comfortable diving is in summer as water temperature is about 24C/75F.
