Pet Cemetery cenote
The access to Pet Cemetery cenote is possible through Dos Ojos cenote 1km/0.6mi to the south of Xel-Ха. This cenote belongs to the second largest cave system in the world that is called Sac Actun. Pet Cemetery owes its name to the skeletons of various animals found there, one of which is a fossilized skeleton of an extinct prehistoric camel. There is also a chance of seeing spider monkeys at the entrance to this beautiful cenote located in the jungles. Pet Cemetery is a very shallow cave with average depth up to 3m/9ft.
