Batu Bolong is one of the most popular dive sites in Komodo, where it is possible to find practically all Komodian dwellers: soft corals, reef fish, various nudibranchs, and other marine species.

Location: between Tatawa Island to the east and Komodo main island to the west

What to see: Thousands of anthiases, colorful soft corals and reef fish can be seen near the reef. While moving along vertical walls, it is possible to see snappers, large rainbow runners, Napoleon wrasses, tunas and sharks. In the shallow part of the reef there are nudibranchs of various species.

Visibility: 15-25m/49-82ft

Season for diving: All year round. The water temperature ranges between 23C-26C/71F-75F.
