Besmi Island / Turkey

Besmi Island is one of the most beautiful dive sites in Kash. It is an underwater rock that runs up from the marine depths and its top rises above the surface. It has a specific relief with various grottos and small comfortable canyons. At 40m/131ft depth there might be some remnants of ancient amphorae.
The optimal depth for diving ranges between 6-35m/20-115ft.
Besmi Island is suitable for both novices and experienced divers.

Location: Turkey, Mediterranean Sea, to the south of Kash

What to see: Here divers can spot groupers. Some representatives can reach extremely huge size. Besides, it is possible to see lobsters, octopuses and dentexes. Among soft corals and anemones morays are waiting for their prey.

Season for diving: Diving season lasts from April to November. Water temperature averages between 25-30C/77-86F.
