Catalina Island is located half an hour walk from La Romana. There are very beautiful dive sites that can boast with unusual outburst of underwater colors. The Wall and Aquarium dive sites are a true paradise garden of various corals and tube sponges that are a business card of the country. The first dive site has a coral cliff and a breathtaking vertical wall that runs into water abyss. Moreover, the depth ranges between 4-40m/13-131ft that makes the diving available for all divers, regardless of their experience. Unbelievable variety of corals and reef dwellers of the Aquarium dive site create an illusion of a true underwater heaven.

Location: Caribbean Sea, south-east corner of the Dominican Republic

What to see: here it is possible to see various rays’ species, nudibrachs, shrimps and small fish that deserve no less attention than large ones.
