John's tunnel

John’s tunnel is a dive site known for a tunnel that is almost 10m/32ft long and 1.5-2.5m/4-8ft size. At 25m/82ft depth there is a sunken vessel covered with corals that became a home for a variety of underwater dwellers.

Location: South-western part of the Pacific Ocean, to the west of Beqa Island, near the western shore of Yanuca Island

What to see: Reef fish, damselfish, lionfish, orangutan crabs, nudibranchs, anemones, snappers, flatworms etc.

Depth: 20-35m/65-115ft

Currents: none

Visibility: 10-30m/32-98ft

Season for diving: All year round. Water temperature averages between 25 – 29C/77-84F.
