Limanagzi and the Ottoman Wreck / Turkey

Limanagzi (The Lighthouse) and the Ottoman Wreck are one of the most popular dive sites in Kash. It is due to several reasons. Firstly, it is the close location to the city. They are located near the popular Limanagzi bay. Secondly, it is one of the most biologically diverse dive sites of Kash and, in addition, at 23m/76ft depth there is a wreck of an ancient vessel. Probably, it is a sunken warship that suffers from erosion, but still has preserved copper fragments.
Dive site is good for both novices and experienced divers.

Location: Turkey, east of the Mediterranean Sea, Limanagzi bay

What to see: At the bottom divers can find several clay jars and amphorae. Near the lighthouse on the reef it is possible to find dark groupers and near sandy bottom there are triggerfish. Sometimes there are rays and turtles.

Season for diving: The most comfortable time is from June to September. Water temperature during this period ranges between 17-25C/62-77F.
