Los Islotes / Mexico

Los Islotes, @ Pablo Cervantes
The colony of sea lions is located 0.8km/0.5mi from Isla Espiritu Santo. About 200 brown sea lions can be found on the rocky islands that are connected with a natural arch. These animals are very curious and pay much attention to their visitors. Young animals can touch the diver’s flippers hoping to play. During the mating period one can see the males fighting for free territory.
Besides the colony of sea lions, divers can admire a picturesque sea view – hard rock and various sea dwellers in the adjoining territory.
