Monad Shoal
Monad Shoal is the main attraction of Malapascua. It is a wide shoal that is 1km/0.6mi in diameter. In fact, it is an island that didn’t reach the surface. The top of the shallow is located at 20-27m/65-88ft depth. The walls run abruptly to 45m/147ft depth and fluently leave the recreational borders.
All year round, in the morning the thresher sharks visit the cleaning station here. Moreover it is possible to see giant mantas and devil fish. The dive site is perfect for using Nitrox.

Location: Visayan Sea, north of Cebu Island

Season for diving: The best time to dive is from March to May. The water temperature ranges between 24-30C/75-86F.
