Diving here is possible only together with an experienced divemaster. Earlier people thought that turtles came to die at this place, but later they found out that animals couldn’t find a way out of the labyrinth. That’s why it is not advisable to enter it without proper escort. At the bottom of the cave it is possible to find plenty of turtle skeletons that didn’t manage to get out and which stayed there forever. Deeper in the cave there are sea dweller that adapted to life in the darkness. Required diving level is Advanced.

Location: South China Sea, north-east of Sipadan Island

What to see: barracudas, white-tip reef sharks, shrimps, moray eels, spiny cave lobsters, large snappers, turtle skeletons etc.

Depth: 14-22m/45-72ft


Visibility: 10-30m/32-98ft

Season for diving: The best time is from April to November. The average water temperature ranges between 26-30C/78-86F.
