San Cristóbal Island attracts visitors with a picturesque landscape such as cape Pit that is covered with colorful plants, lava of various hues and beautiful beaches with yellow-olive sand that sparkles brightly on the sun. It may sound weird, but human presence here is out of place. The variety of marine dwellers is truly astonishing and there are various activities that attract the visitors, among them, swimming and sunbathing together with sea lions are one of the most interesting ones.
Loberia beach is situated 10 minutes from Baquerizo Moreno port. The flora of this region owns a variety of rare exotic flowers. The center of interpretation, that was built in commonwealth with spanish government, helps the visitors to get acquainted with the history of archipelago and its volcanic origin.
