San Refealito is a former colony of sea lions and an excellent place for night diving. The dive site is interesting for its large amount of coral formations, little caves and overhangs. It is possible to notice parrot fish that are sleeping in the secluded parts of the reef. Sea lions sometimes return to visit their old home.

Location: the south-west of the Cortez Sea, at the northern coast of Yucatan Peninsula

What to sea: picturesque landscape, various corals, parrot fish, sea lions.

Currents: 1-2 knots

Visibility: 10-30m/32-98ft

Season for diving: All year long. The average water temperature is 21-29C/70-84F.
