The Canyon / Turkey

Walls of Canyon
The Canyon dive site was formed by two parallel walls which depth varies between 3-19m/10-62ft. At the lower part of the Canyon it is possible to find a small cave and when moving along the right wall divers will see the sunken vessel. At 30m/99ft depth on the verge of one of the underwater rocks there is cargo ship “Dimitri”. In 1968 it carried the cotton and got a hole on hitting one of numerous underwater rocks that surround the Canyon. Cotton got swollen underwater and damaged the vessel from the inside. This wreck is also called the Cotton Wreck.
After exploring the eastern and western walls divers can swim under gigantic stone boulders and rise upon the surface.
The dive site can be interesting for both experienced and novice divers.
